Teaching Personnel are looking for Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming, forward-thinking primary school committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive. Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to support students and teaching staff on a day-to-day basis. You will have a key role in helping students reach their full potential socially, emotionally and academically. Key Responsibilities Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons. Work with small groups or one-to-one students to improve academic progress. Assist pupils in accessing lessons, including those with additional learning needs (SEN). Support behaviour management, promote a positive learning environment. Supervise pupils during lunch, break times, or other non-classroom periods, as required. The Right Candidate Qualities: Experience working with children Good communication skills and interpersonal skills Patient, adaptable, and able to respond to changing environments in a classroom Reliable, organised, and able to work well as part of a team.
