Priory Adult Care is the UK’s leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate.
With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.
Job Advert Role Description
Bowden Lodge is located in Darnall, in Sheffield. The home provides residential support for 16 males and females with mental health needs.
We are looking for a Housekeeper to join the team for 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
Required to deliver an efficient and high quality accommodation and housekeeping service within the home to assist the well-being, comfort and development of our residents.
Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the home, in line with
operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all home areas in a timely and
efficient manner, as part of a team.
Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance
department or home manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet
quality standards and statutory regulations.
Requirements:
The role holder will be expected to undergo training for COSHH, as well as partake in Priory’s
mandatory training.
The role holder will be required to have physical stamina, but will generally work in a pleasant and stable working environment.
