Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is currently seeking an experienced Toolmaker / Tool Maintenance Fitter to join their Toolroom team. The Role Reporting to the Toolroom Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plastic injection mould tools to support the company’s production schedule. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain plastic injection mould tools in line with planned schedules * Repair and modify tools as required * Record and maintain full tool history documentation * Ensure all tools are stored safely and correctly * Manufacture and maintain jigs and fixtures * Provide technical support to the moulding production department * Support external contractors when required * Work closely with production to ensure tools are ready for manufacture * Report and document any tool damage identified * Provide solutions to tool faults and breakdowns * Optimise maintenance time to minimise operational costs * Carry out preventative maintenance on all toolroom equipment and machinery * Order and report any required spares or replacement parts * Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety standards * Undertake any additional reasonable duties requested by management Skills & Experience Required: * Strong technical knowledge of mould tools and ancillary equipment * Good understanding of toolroom equipment and machinery * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload * Target driven with a proactive approach * Good numeracy skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to motivate and support team members * Reliable, punctual, and dependable * Strong interpersonal skills Shifts: * Dayshift: Monday to Wednesday, 6:00am – 6:00pm * Nightshift: Monday to Thursday morning, 6:00pm – 6:00am
