An opportunity awaits an experienced Paraplanner to join a progressive, people-focused financial planning firm in Norwich. Working closely with a Financial Services Manager and a team of skilled Advisers and Paraplanners, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting technical planning, ensuring compliance, and contributing to exciting development projects.

The structure typically follows a 1 adviser : 1 paraplanner : admin support model, allowing for manageable workloads and meaningful partnerships. Depending on your aspirations, you can develop into a career paraplanner or work towards becoming an Adviser, with clear and supportive pathways for both.
The package
Salary range up to £43, (DOE + qualifications) company bonus paid annually, exam support: full funding with post-qualification bonus and retention plan, flexible working: office-based for the first 6 months, then up to 2 days WFH (subject to approval), career development, genuine progression opportunities and personal mentoring, culture - flat hierarchy, open communication, and social, team-oriented environment, parking available at separate sites.

The Day to Day:
3. You’ll provide high-quality technical support to Financial Advisers, ensuring advice is compliant, accurate, and client-focused. Your day-to-day will include:
4. Conducting detailed research and analysis to support recommendations.
5. Preparing suitability reports and annual reviews.
6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with advisers and admin teams.
7. As a valued member of the team, your opinion will matter.
8. You’ll be encouraged to challenge ideas, identify issues, and collaborate to achieve the best client outcomes.
9. Contributing to internal projects.
You Will Have/Be:
10. Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or be close to completion (1–2 units remaining)
11. Minimum 3 years’ experience within an IFA environment
12. Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills
13. Confident, approachable, and a strong communicator, someone who thrives in a collaborative, social, and fast-paced office.
