Position Overview
Bank Staff Nurse – Oncology. Derby Hospital | Nursing | Bank Contract | Ad hoc | Up to £30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
* Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse‑led service.
* Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy.
* Fully assess each patient’s needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care.
* Administer systemic anti‑cancer therapies.
* Assist consultants during clinics.
* Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies.
* Be proficient in venepuncture, cannulation and the use of central venous access devices.
Qualifications & Requirements
As a Bank Staff Nurse in Oncology at our Derby Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. In addition to post‑registration experience you have experience in Oncology and a SACT (systemic anti‑cancer therapies) qualification or you’re working towards this.
