Become a Children’s Social Worker for Bury and help with our ‘Let’s Do it for Children’ vision.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated social worker to join our Initial Response Team (IRT). As part of IRT, you will work alongside 4 individual teams, each with a Team Manager and 6 Social workers including Advance Practitioners. Each team covers DUTY on a 1-week rotating rota, and during this time, you will be based in the office with your team.
The Initial Response Teams in Bury are fast-paced, lively, and interesting. They are ideal for proactive, adaptable Social Workers who are passionate about ensuring children and families in our area receive a positive and timely first experience of our service.
The work is diverse and allows for high levels of multi-agency collaboration, often under tight timelines.
About You
We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and child-focused social workers committed to relationship-based social work. You must be a qualified Level 3 Social Worker, registered with SW England, and have access to a car to support visits to children and families.
