Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Mould Operator / Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Harlow. In this role, you will be responsible for operating moulding equipment and conducting thorough inspections to ensure the production of high-quality products.
* Set up, operate, and monitor moulding machines to prepare equipment for the shopfloor
* Perform regular quality checks and inspections on mould equipment
* Use precision measurement tools to verify product specifications
* Identify and report any defects or deviations from quality standards
* Maintain accurate records of production and inspection activities
* Clean and maintain moulding equipment and work area
* Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
* Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
This position is a days position working Monday - Friday though the Plant operates 365 days per year, 24 hours a day.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in mould operation or inspection
* Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments
* Proficiency in mould operation and inspection techniques
* Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
* Experience using precision measurement tools
* Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
* Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (preferred)
