Overview
This role is a permanent, field-based position for a Gas Safe registered Plumbing and Heating Engineer with Magna Housing Ltd. The role involves central heating works including installation and servicing, diagnosing faults, and resolving heating/plumbing problems to a high standard. A company van, uniform, and trade-relevant power tools are provided. The role requires regular travel across Dorset, and on-call duties once every 10 weeks with a standby allowance.
Base pay range
* Salary: £41,740 plus benefits and additional allowances.
* Field-based with regular travel across Dorset.
* Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon - Fri)
* Permanent Role.

The role & responsibilities
The role involves carrying out central heating works including installation and servicing, diagnosing faults, and resolving heating/plumbing problems to a high standard. You will be expected to work from initial job report to completion, ensuring customer needs are met and complying with current legislation. * You will be required to be on call once every 10 weeks, for which you will receive a generous standby allowance.
What you need to be successful
* Strong fault-finding ability & diagnostic skills; comfortable working independently or as part of a team, committed to overcoming daily challenges.
* Ideally experience of Social Housing or similar environments; other sectors considered.
* Understanding how to use a mobile iPad and knowledge of the Dorset & South Somerset area would be preferential.
