About the Role:
My client, a leading global energy company, is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their dynamic in-house legal team. This is a growth hire for a team of five, reporting to the Associate General Counsel. The role offers exposure to a broad range of work across commercial, data privacy, marketing, and regulatory matters.
What You’ll Do:
* Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (including trading, storage, supply, and marketing).
* Advise on GDPR compliance, data protection, and global compliance initiatives.
* Support litigation, M&A projects, and corporate governance tasks.
* Collaborate with senior counsel and business stakeholders to enable commercial objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
* UK-qualified solicitor with 2-4+ years PQE (in-house or private practice).
* Strong commercial contracts experience and regulatory awareness.
* Ability to work across multiple business units in a fast-paced environment.
* Energy sector experience is a plus but not essential.
