Due to our continued success and business growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the Wincanton team at our brand-new Scotland Gateway facility working on our exciting and ever expanding Primark contract.
Scotland Gateway is a brand-new state of the art facility that will house several of our market leading customers in one place, opening the door for collaboration, innovation and most importantly, endless development opportunities for our people!

Day to Day
* Warehouse duties including picking stock accurately and efficiently using handheld device to scan
* Items to be loaded onto pallets
* Checking of picked stock and assembled loads prior to dispatch
* Ensuring quality is of the highest standards and all stock is handled with care, so it arrives at our customers in perfect condition
* Ensuring areas are kept clean and tidy
* Working in a team environment in a safe manner adhering to site Health & Safety regulations and Safe Systems of Work
* A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site
What will you bring?
* If you have previous warehouse experience that’s great – but don’t worry if not, we are looking for people with a great attitude and positive behaviours, we can teach you everything else!
* Attention to detail to accurately enable the correct picking of stock
* Have appropriate hand, eye, and foot coordination to effectively use mechanical handling equipment safely
* You will be reliable, self-motivated, a strong team player and will have a flexible approach to work
