About the RoleAt Ipsum, our vision is to be the leading customer service-focused provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions, operating on both public and private networks. As a Jetting Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving drainage systems, ensuring the efficient operation of essential services for our communities.
What you will be doing:
* Operating high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages and maintain drainage systems.
* Conducting CCTV surveys to assess drainage conditions and identify issues.
* Responding promptly to emergency call-outs and planned maintenance schedules.
* Liaising with clients and internal teams to report findings and recommend solutions.
* Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
What you will bring:
* Desirable Qualifications & Professional Memberships:
* Valid driving licence.
* High-pressure water jetting certification.
* Confined space entry certification.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience:
* Experience in drainage maintenance and jetting operations.
* Familiarity with CCTV drainage survey equipment and software.
* Knowledge of health and safety practices in utility operations.
Skills & Personal Qualities:
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
