Job Overview We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Warehouse Operative and Purchaser to join our dynamic Renewables Team. This hybrid role will play a key part in the operational support of offshore renewable projects, with responsibilities spanning warehouse management, purchasing, and equipment tracking. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to develop skills in offshore equipment inspection through our comprehensive training program. Key Responsibilities Manage the warehouse and stores function to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and equipment. Track and record all received, ordered, and delivered goods accurately for renewable projects. Use internal software systems to manage PPE and equipment inspection schedules, locations, and records. Coordinate and complete purchasing activities using Sage software, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. Monitor and follow up on orders to ensure goods are received according to project timelines. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory and inspection logs. Assist the Renewables Team by preparing equipment and materials for offshore mobilisation. Be trained and developed to inspect and assess offshore equipment, ensuring it meets required safety and operational standards. Support internal teams by providing key logistical and purchasing support to ongoing offshore projects. Collaborate closely with project managers, technicians, and logistics coordinators to support operational success. Requirements Proven experience in a warehouse, purchasing, or logistics role (offshore or industrial sectors preferred). Familiarity with purchasing software, ideally Sage. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and asset management or tracking software. Willingness to undergo training in equipment inspection and offshore standards. Strong communication and teamworking skills. Forklift or lifting equipment certification (preferred but not essential).
