Supplier Quality Specialist Monday to Friday 100% on site Travel both domestic and abroad to Catalent sites or Catalent supplier locations as required ~25% travel This is a site based position in either Bathgate, Scotland or Shorndorf, Germany With nearly 25 years of experience, our Bathgate location in Scotland, UK is an integral part of Catalent’s European clinical supply services network. This 141,000 sq. ft. facility has a comprehensive range of capabilities to support sponsors’ studies throughout the UK, Europe and beyond, including clinical supply management, FastChain® demand-led supply, clinical-scale commercial packaging, and QP release services. We are are looking to recruit a Supplier Quality Specialist to join our team. The role will see you as an integral member of the Quality Network. The Role Manage and maintain the approved supplier list for Global Comparator, Depot, and network site programs. Plan, conduct, and report supplier audits (site and questionnaire), including third-party and outsourced audits, ensuring timely completion of corrective actions. Support and complete Supplier Quality Agreements, Risk Assessments, Risk Control Plans, License Reviews, Change Controls, and follow-ups. Ensure supplier documentation is current, including audits, assessments, quality agreements, and license renewals. Evaluate and manage new supplier requests and change notifications, assessing impact on internal processes and client commitments. Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide accurate responses to external audit queries across the Catalent Global Clinical Supplier Services network. The Person A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, with experience in pharmaceutical quality or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess supplier auditing experience, including writing audit reports; certified auditor or lead auditor credentials are preferred. Demonstrate strong knowledge of GMP/GDP/GCP regulations, especially in comparator sourcing, wholesaler licensing, and third-party storage/distribution. Proficient in systems such as JDE and Trackwise, with strong project management, prioritization, and execution skills. Exhibit independent working ability, strategic thinking, process improvement mindset, and attention to detail. Communicate effectively across all levels with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, and the ability to influence decisions on product quality and compliance.
