* Location: Hoddesdon Depot (EN11 0DJ)
* Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Rate of Pay
* Day – Monday to Friday: £15.88 per hour; Saturday: £17.87 per hour; Sunday: £23.82 per hour
* Nights – Monday to Friday: £18.14 per hour; Saturday: £20.42 per hour; Sunday: £27.21 per hour
* Overtime – Days: £17.87; Nights: £20.42
New Driver Signing On
New drivers who join the Hoddesdon team will receive a £500 signing on bonus, paid upon successful completion of a 12 week probation period.
Role & Responsibilities
* Deliver milk products to customer stores and regional distribution centres, navigating urban driving and hazard awareness especially within the M25 and Greater London area.
* Put safety first and respect all other road users.
* Perform driver and vehicle checks accurately and completely.
* Plan routes with safety restrictions, road works and traffic in mind to ensure smooth and efficient journeys.
* Act as the interface between the business and customers, maintaining a professional standard in all situations.
Qualifications & Experience
* HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
* Current CPC and digital driving card
* No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (no CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
* Minimum of 12 months experience required
* Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role; trolleys may be loaded/unloaded by the driver
* Good team player with ability to work on own initiative
* Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
