Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a commercial vehicle dealership at their state-of-the-art depot in Ballyclare. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to work in a modern workshop, undertake all levels of maintenance and repairs, and benefit from industry-leading training and clear career progression.
Key Responsibilities
As an HGV Technician, you will undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs, and major overhauls on heavy goods vehicles.
Complete standard servicing, diagnostics, and follow the repair process from fault analysis to completion as a professional HGV Technician.
Work efficiently in a busy workshop environment, ensuring all work meets manufacturer and safety standards.
Maintain accurate job cards and documentation, supporting workshop efficiency and quality.
What You’ll Need
Apprentice-trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a fleet or dealership environment.
Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills.
Full UK driving licence (C+E / Class 1 licence is beneficial but not essential).
