A vacancy at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking to appoint a Full-Time Fixed-Term Locum Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with a special interest in facial deformity to join the established and supportive Maxillofacial Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
A candidate who is unable for personal reasons to undertake the duties of a whole-time post will receive equal consideration. If such a candidate is appointed the job content will be modified as appropriate in consultation with consultant colleagues and local management.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including consultants, orthodontists, anaesthetists, and specialist nursing staff, to deliver high-quality care to patients requiring orthognathic and facial deformity surgery. This role will involve active participation in outpatient clinics, theatre sessions, multidisciplinary team meetings, and audit and teaching activities within the department. The post offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the deformity service at NNUH while gaining valuable experience in a busy tertiary referral centre with a broad case mix. The successful candidate will be supported by experienced colleagues and will be encouraged to engage in service improvement, research, and training initiatives.
