Role Overview As an HR Assistant, you will provide administrative and operational support to the HR team, helping to manage employee records, assist with recruitment processes, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role will give you hands-on experience across multiple HR functions and provide opportunities for career development.
Key Responsibilities Assisting in the recruitment process, including job postings, CV screening, and interview coordination
Preparing HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding materials
Maintaining and updating employee records in compliance with GDPR and company policies
Assisting in payroll processing by ensuring accurate records of attendance, leave, and contract updates
Coordinating training sessions and employee development programs
Handling employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace procedures
Supporting HR-led initiatives such as diversity, wellbeing, and engagement programs
Ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies
Who We Are Looking For A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is beneficial but not essential
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software (or willingness to learn)
