Overview of the role

Phoenix enables digital transformation in the workplace, empowering UK organisations to innovate and transform with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, data, AI, security, and collaboration tools.

We are now very excited to grow that team further by hiring a new Project Coordinator who will work closely with our IT Asset Management (ITAM) team to provide coordination and administrative support across a range of engagements.



What will you be doing?

* Prepare materials for project kick‑off meetings.
* Join project calls, take clear notes, and share meeting summaries.
* Support other Project Managers during busy periods or holidays.
* Help complete customer governance documents, such as data protection forms and sharing agreements.
* Act as a main point of contact for customers across various IT projects.
* Handle day‑to‑day project queries and escalate issues when needed.
* Help schedule and allocate consultants and analysts to projects.
* Coordinate the review and approval of Statements of Work.
* Check customer purchase orders for compliance.
* Set up and manage customer collaboration sites in SharePoint.
* Assist with creating and updating project plans.
* Build simple process maps and workflow diagrams to support project delivery.

What are we looking for?

The right person for this role will already have proven experience in a similar project support role within a fast-paced work environment.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Experience supporting projects, ideally within a service‑based or customer‑focused environment.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and confident general PC abilities.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with people at all levels.
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a practical, common‑sense approach.
* Confident in decision‑making and able to understand the bigger picture.
* Positive, engaging personality with the ability to absorb and clearly relay information.





Practical stuff

Where is the role based?
Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42)

What about hybrid working?

Two days p/ w in the office is the minimum expectation for this role.

How many interviews?
Following a screen with the Recruitment Team you can expect a two-stage interview process, one online and one in-person.



*Important* BPSS Check

As part of our recruitment process due to the nature of the work we do, all employees are required to undertake a Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) check. While some employees require further security clearance, the BPSS check is a must-have requirement and all offers of employment are conditional pending the passing of this check.
