Your RoleAs a Network Engineer, you will play a key position in designing, implementing, and supporting secure and scalable network solutions for enterprise clients. This role will suit someone who is confident working acrossplex environments, with a strong focus on next‑generation firewalls and load‑balancing technologies.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting next‑generation firewalls, particularly Fortinet and Palo Alto
2. Managing and optimising F5 load balancers
3. Supporting network routing, switching, security, and performance optimisation
4. Working closely with customers to resolve technical escalations
5. Contributing to project implementations, upgrades, and solution deployments
6. Ensuring network integrity, security, and high availability across customer environments
What You Need to SucceedTo be successful, you should have:
7. Strong experience working as a Network Engineer in a technical support or MSP environment ideally.
8. Solid hands‑on expertise with Fortinet firewalls
9. Experience with F5 load balancing
10. Ideally, exposure to or experience with Palo Alto technologies
11. Good understanding of routing and switching fundamentals
12. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure
13. A proactive mindset with a desire to develop professionally
14. Relevant vendor certifications (Fortinet / Palo Alto / F5 / Cisco) are highly desirable but not essential
