The Position Multi-skilled Engineering Chargehand Job Summary Multi-Skilled Engineering Chargehand Location : Imerys, St Austell, Cornwall Salary: £42,378.77 - £45,440.20 per year depending on skills and experience (including shift pay) Additional chargehand payment of £2,868.07 will be added to the salary once initial training is complete and the ability to work independently has been demonstrated. The job role: Joining our experienced team, you’ll be carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs and breakdown resolutions on fixed plant equipment. The more common activities include, but are not limited to: Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance and diagnostics to a wide range of fixed plant equipment Fault finding and repairs on electrical panels and instrumentation Supporting other Imerys sites in Cornwall Sourcing / ordering materials Being responsible for time sheets and holidays Ensuring prioritised tasks are being dealt with and making necessary changes to the priority plan if required.
