GSL Education is currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor in an innovative and highly achieving school in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education for students in the absence of their regular teachers. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and make a positive impact on students' learning journeys. You will support students across various subjects and year groups, making adaptability and a proactive approach key attributes for this role.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Supporting students in their learning and addressing any queries.
* Collaborating with other staff members to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Providing feedback to teachers regarding student progress and behavior.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
* Experience working with children or young adults, ideally within an educational setting.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom environments.
