Working with us at Hays Healthcare you will be able to manage your own shift patterns and hours, with plenty of work available to choose from, such as weekends, nights, days and long days. If you have a passion for enhancing the quality of life and providing excellent care when it is needed the most, then working within a team of ANP's in our client would be the perfect role for you. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you must have a current-in-date NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices.
Your responsibilities would include:
4. Carrying out clinical examination of patients in their care
5. Performing diagnosis based on their assessment of the patient
6. Taking specimen (blood, urine etc) samples and ordering test samples
7. Creating short or long-term treatment plans and prescribing medication based on test findings
8. Managing and providing post-surgical care to patients
9. Offering special instructions to patients such as nutritional advice, information about weight management, etc.
10. Performing routine medical procedures
11. Performing periodic evaluations of their patients and referring them to specialists as necessary
What you'll need to succeed
12. NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber
13. 6 months paid experience in a position as an ANP
14. Right to work in the UK (Hays cannot offer sponsorship for this position)
