About Numan
Founded in 2018, we’ve grown to a 200+ team distributed across the globe, united by a mission: empowering people to take control of their health. Numan is transforming health with a platform that integrates diagnostics, medication, supplements, digital programmes, and doctor consultations to help people maximise life.
To deliver on our mission, we are guided by our five values: Patients first; Learn Fast; Own the quality; Succeed together; Care deeply. We are backed by top-tier investors and are having a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of patients in the UK. We want you to help us deliver this mission.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior IT Engineer to drive important IT initiatives. You’ll spot problems, design fixes, and deliver end-to-end solutions, ensuring our systems and tools scale with a fast-growing business. You’ll be hands-on with the tech, and also a mentor for the team, raising the bar on how we work and embedding best practice across IT. Think of it as part engineer, part strategist, part collaborator, and 100% critical to keeping Numan running smoothly.

* Embed ITIL best practice and align to NIST CSF where it adds value.
* Track project progress, spot risks early, and keep delivery on track.
* Keep stakeholders in the loop with clear, proactive communications.
* Manage our fleet of remote IT assets with MDM, ensuring devices are secure and accounted for.
* Set up and maintain role-based access control via our SSO.
* Partner with other leads and teams to keep IT and the wider business in sync.
Qualifications
* Solid experience in IT, systems administration, or a similar hands-on role.
* Experience mentoring or managing others and a collaborative style.
* Hands-on experience with Google Workspace.

* Structured, detail-driven approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with people across the business.
* Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cloud technology.
* Experience with ITSM tools (Freshservice, Jira Service Desk), identity/SSO solutions (OneLogin), and MDM (e.g., Kandji).
* Familiarity with ITIL principles and how to apply them.
Nice to have
* Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
* Familiarity with macOS and Windows device management.
