Responsibilities
* Your role will be to carry out valuation instructions efficiently and with a high degree of independence within the context of the wider Valuation Team. This will include the preparation of concise, accurate valuation reports ready for Director review and sign-off.
* Day to day, you will collaborate with valuation colleagues and assume personal responsibility for valuation instructions.
* You will be encouraged to work smartly and efficiently to maximise profitability.
* Avison Young has established procedures and safeguards to meet regulatory, quality and other corporate standards; you would be expected to embrace these and proactively develop them.
* Identify opportunities to grow the Northwest Valuation business.
* Collaborate openly with colleagues across Avison Young to realise new business opportunities. Be familiar with and contribute to the firm’s Strategic Ambitions.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 software.
* Proficiency in using valuation software, ideally including KEL and Argus Developer, with training available where required.

Experience
* RICS qualification (FRICS/MRICS).
* RICS Registered Valuer.
* A good working knowledge of the RICS Red Book and relevant guidance notes.
