An Application Support Developer is now sought by a leading Birmingham-based organisation. Working within a dynamic application support function, you will join a peer group of talented and experienced application support professionals.
This role is initially a fixed-term position for 18 months, offering hybrid working with one day a week expected in Birmingham.
You will be involved in application support, system implementations, and integrations. As an experienced Application Developer, you must have proven programming skills, with knowledge of systems integration being beneficial.
Essential Experience
* Commercial application support experience
* Exceptional interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of ITIL
* Problem, Change, and Incident management
* Application testing lifecycle
* Proven technical/development skills: Linux, Python, XML
Additional skills include:
* Perl or similar scripting language
* JavaScript of any flavor
In this role, you will be offered a starting salary of £50,000 - £55,000 plus an excellent pension and 33+ days of annual leave. Hybrid working is available, but presence on-site is expected.
