About the Team
Our Corporate Tax specialists in the EY Private and Mid-Market team work with a diverse portfolio of clients — from owner-managed and multi-generational family businesses to PE-backed and AIM-listed companies. These businesses span all stages of the business lifecycle, from start-ups to established multinationals.
We provide a balanced mix of compliance and advisory services, covering areas such as:
1. M&A structuring and due diligence
2. Exit planning and succession
3. Group reorganisations
4. International expansion and structuring

The Opportunity
Due to significant growth following several high-profile client wins, we are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Manager to join our London team. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the most prominent and dynamic clients in the market, supporting them in navigating an increasingly complex tax landscape.
Key Responsibilities
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing client
6. Oversee the successful delivery of complex tax advisory, compliance, and reporting engagements
7. Provide high-quality client service and maintain accountability for project quality
8. Collaborate across specialist tax teams to provide holistic solutions
9. Drive internal and external networking and business development
10. Lead and contribute to team initiatives and strategic priorities
11. Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
12. A seasoned corporate tax professional, with experience gained in practice or an in-house environment
13. An effective relationship builder with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
14. Commercially aware with a strong track record in business development
15. Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
16. A confident communicator, both written and verbal
17. A natural leader, team player, and coach, with experience managing and developing others
18. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and change-oriented environment
Additional strengths include:
19. Degree qualified
20. Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, including tax accounting/tax audit
21. Demonstrated ability to interpret both existing and emerging tax legislation
22. Strong project management skills, including budget management and deadline delivery
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:
23. A professional qualification such as ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA, or
24. Completion of HMRC’s full Tax Inspector Training Programme, or
25. A relevant law qualification
