Sales & Events Coordinator
Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes
We are looking to recruit a Sales & Events Coordinator at Kents Hill Park, part of The Venues Collection. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Office Manager and the sales team.
Salary: £26k per annum | 40 hours per week
The role:
* Maximise the venue's potential and achieve monthly budgets.
* Assist in rate strategies for M&E aligned with budget expectations.
* Handle reservations for both event and transient guests.
* Attend all mandatory and role-specific training.
* Provide exceptional customer care before and during events.
* Maximise sales and revenue through proactive sales opportunities.
* Follow all sales procedures and develop the business accordingly.
* Respond promptly to customer enquiries within hotel guidelines.
* Manage diary efficiently to optimise conference yield.
* Maintain sales information using Opera, following company policies.
* Participate in communication and operational meetings as needed.
* Support invoicing processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
* Assist the Director of Sales with new leads and client events.
* Build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
* Be aware of competitor services and facilities to promote our venue.
* Comply with health and safety legislation, report issues, and participate in training.
* Understand and follow Accident & Maintenance and Fire safety procedures.
* Support the wider Operations team and undertake ad hoc tasks as assigned by managers.
