Job Description
Our client, a well-established, award-winning specialist civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor on a part-time basis to join the team in the West Midlands.
The company provides structural refurbishment within multiple sectors, including clean water.
Role
Supporting the business in developing, checking, and enforcing policies and procedures to control critical safety risks. You will also be responsible for safety audits and inspections across UK-based sites, identifying opportunities for improvement while engaging with staff at all levels. The role involves a mix of working from home, from the new offices in Birmingham, and on-site.
Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data with keen attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
* Full driving license.
* Previous experience working for a civil engineering contractor, preferably within the water industry.
* Experience with Seven Trent framework is beneficial.
