Job Title: Sports Coach (School Based)
Location: Pontefract
Salary: £90-£100 a day dependent on experience
Leader Education are looking for Sports Coaches who are looking to work within a school environment. For this role you will be working with children across Primary and Secondary both in the classroom and outside of the classroom for PE and extra-curriculum activities. This role will involve being a Teaching Assistant outside of PE Lessons so you will be expected to work in the classroom supporting children with challenging behaviour. This role is a full-time role, and you will have the opportunity to make a difference. You will use your sporting background to get the best out of children.
Role Requirements
This role will require you to have a qualification or background in Sport and a passion for working with children. You do not need any direct experience working with children, but this will be desirable. If you have a background in Youth Work, Army, Police or any Creative background such as Art or Music alongside your qualification please apply.

As part of our Safer Recruitment, you will be required to go through our vetting process before you can work in a school. For this role you will require an Enhanced Child or Child and Adults DBS. This is mandatory to work in a school and if you do not have one you can apply for one through Leader Education.
