We have a variety of roles available in different teams, including: Community-Based Treatment Services:
Provide assessments, coordinate treatment, and deliver structured psycho-social interventions to help individuals develop the skills they need for lasting change. Homeless Outreach Provision:
Engage with homeless individuals, offering flexible outreach support to those sleeping rough or in temporary accommodation. Criminal Justice Rehabilitation/Recovery Services:
Collaborate with Probation Services, Prisons, and Police to provide tailored support for recovery and rehabilitation. As a Recovery Worker, you’ll start with a competitive salary of
£25,116
, with annual increases based on our pay progression bands, reaching up to
£29,383
per year. Depending on your experience, you may even start at a higher salary! Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Recovery Worker, you will: Act as a ‘key worker’ for a caseload of service users, helping them set and achieve their treatment goals. Maintain regular contact with clients, providing advice, information, and psycho-social interventions. Conduct assessments and risk management planning, collaborating closely with clinical staff and partner agencies. No two days will be the same! You’ll need to communicate effectively with a diverse range of service users and colleagues, manage multiple tasks, and embody the values of Turning Point. Whether you have lived experience of substance use, mental health, or homelessness, or simply a passion for supporting others, we have a role for you!

We’re looking for individuals who: Understand the challenges and opportunities of recovery from substance and alcohol use. Possess transferable skills from backgrounds such as mental health, housing, or health and social care. Are flexible and able to work dynamically in both one-on-one and group settings. Have excellent communication skills and share our organizational values.
