Salary range: £25,400-28,400 The Position We’re looking for an enthusiastic social media assistant to support our content publishing activity, bringing a zeal for detail and organization to this growing area of the business. The Role Responsibilities will include: Shaping and delivering social media content strategies across clients’ Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and Patreon accounts. Collaborating with your team, and freelance creatives including video editors, graphic designers, illustrators, and copywriters to bring video, static images, carousels, and other multimedia assets to life. Liaising with the wider internal team to brief, prioritise, and balance workload across our freelancers. Keeping our content engine running smoothly by maintaining schedules, databases, and reference materials. Ensuring quality and consistency across video, captions, and editorial elements of all content. Using performance insights to fuel creativity, translating data into ideas, recommendations, and forward-thinking content plans. You may have no experience of editing software, but will be familiar with the process. The role will not involve any camera work or editing, but will provide an insight into the role of producers and post-production. You will have the option to work fully remotely within the UK, be based at our office in Northampton, or a hybrid version of the two. The Candidate You will pride yourself on being forward-thinking and on the thoroughness of your work. You may be a media production, marketing, or advertising graduate. Your field of study might not be directly related to digital media, but at the very least, you will have a demonstrable passion for working behind the scenes in a creative endeavour, and an informed grasp of popular social media platforms. You will be excited by the prospect of a role that demands you to be continually flexible as to priorities and approaches. Digital platforms change frequently, as do trends, and our clients' goals. Strong organisational skills are a must as they enable you to respond to these changes quickly and successfully.
