We currently have a great new opportunity for Access Team Leader to join our team at Mersey West Lancashire Trust, based across Ormskirk and Southport sites. We are looking for a result‑driven, self‑motivated team leader who can deliver excellent communication and interpersonal skills and manage targets. The job description and person specification are currently under AfC review and are subject to change.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for providing guidance, instruction, training, and leadership to inspire the team to perform at their optimum. This is a busy and demanding role, so candidates will need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and flexible to ensure the needs of the service are met.
You will supervise the day‑to‑day activities of the team, build quality relationships, and provide a positive patient experience in line with expectations.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
Applicants may be required to submit a Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. Where applicable, applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check; costs are deducted from salary following appointment. Enrolment for the DBS Update Service is encouraged, subject to a small annual fee.
