As a key Engineer in the Warrington team, you will work closely with an Associate, but be empowered to manage the technical output of projects from concept through to final statutory approval. Responsibilities
* Design Ownership: Lead and own the detailed design, calculations, and drawing production for site infrastructure, including earthworks, road networks, and foul/surface water drainage systems.
* Statutory Approvals: Deliver technical work to adoption standards, focusing on S278 (Highways), S38 (Road Adoption), and S104 (Drainage).
* Project Lifecycle Support: Manage and contribute to schemes across the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and planning support to detailed civil engineering design.
* Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact, liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and local authorities across the region.

Essential Skills And Expertise
* A Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
* 4+ years of proven, relevant design experience within a UK consultancy environment.
* Expert knowledge of key design standards, including DMRB, Manual for Streets, and UK adoption processes.
* Proven proficiency in complex design software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D (or Site 3D), and hydraulic modelling tools (e.g., Flow).
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder management.
