Stock Condition Surveyor role at Midland Heart
We’re looking for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join our in-house team and help us ensure our 35,000 homes across the Midlands remain safe, high-quality and places where people choose to live.
Responsibilities
* Visit tenants homes and carry out stock condition surveys and EPCs.
* Collect accurate information and provide detailed reports that inform compliance, improvements and long-term investment.
* Ensure our homes meet safety and compliance standards.
* Build positive, professional relationships with tenants and provide a respectful service when visiting their homes.
* Support effective performance of contractors to ensure a quality service is delivered.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience of delivering key building surveys, including stock condition and EPCs, with excellent knowledge of quality standards and building regulations.
* A relevant technical qualification e.g. CIOH, RICS, HND, CIOB in addition to practical surveying experience is preferred, but not essential.
* Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing role, interacting with a variety of people from all walks of life.
* Practical IT skills across a variety of programmes including Asset Management systems.
Additional information
Travel across the Midland Heart portfolio spanning the West and East Midlands; portfolio goes as far as Stoke, Leicester, Northampton and areas in between. To successfully deliver this role, candidates must hold a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business use.
