Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover, Full Time
Role Purpose
We are seeking a commercially minded, strategically driven Senior Marketing Manager to cover a period of Maternity Leave to elevate the visibility, reputation, and influence a group of leading B2B studios in the games industry. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple brands and running complex marketing projects and brand launches. You would need to be confident leading on detailed rollouts, timelines, and budgets, as well as balancing this with planning and executing day to day comms activity.
Overview of Key Responsibilities
* Integrated Approach: Manage continued execution of marketing plans and activity, aligned to commercial goals and growth ambitions, including social media, websites, email marketing, partner channels, paid advertising, industry opps, events, etc.
* Content and Campaigns: Oversee and manage the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality content that reflects brand tone of voice. Develop campaign narratives, content strategies and thought leadership that position the brand/team as industry leaders.
* Websites: Regularly review and update studio websites to showcase the latest work, achievements, awards, and press. Responsible for all new projects reaching our audiences across channels.
* Awards and Events: Lead on opportunities for brand growth and industry awareness including a calendar of awards to enter, speaker and event opportunities, and sponsorships. Manage awards submissions end-to-end: selecting work, coordinating assets, writing supporting copy, scheduling submissions, and acting as representative with awards partners. Promote internal talent for jury opportunities and maximise PR value from shortlists, wins, and speaking engagements.
* Internal and Partner Collaboration: Act as the central marketing partner for internal teams, external stakeholders, industry bodies, and Keywords Studios central marketing.
* Brand and Process Leadership: Act as a champion for both brand and marketing-ops processes to ensure representation to the highest standard.
* Marketing Projects: Manage the complete process of planning and delivery for larger ad-hoc projects such as website builds, brand work, new channels, etc.
* Outsourcing: Manage outsourcing of key functions such as PR and paid media plans, aligning with internal goals and coordinating budget.
* Budget and Analytics: Own the existing Marketing budget and be able to compile comprehensive performance data to inform strategy, improve effectiveness, and support commercial outcomes.
* Industry and Marketing Radar: Act as an internal expert on industry trends, competitor activity, client news, social trends and emerging technologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 6+ years of marketing or communications experience; ideally within a B2B agency/studio or in the gaming, creative, or entertainment sectors
* Proven experience working on integrated brand projects, including launches, strategy, planning, and delivery
* Ability to multitask across multiple brands, whether planning and execution of projects, managing varying stakeholders, or producing compelling content
* Excellent communication skills; comfortable collaborating with senior leadership, creatives, producers and technical specialists
* Well-connected, informed and passionate about; marketing, brand, content engagement and media relations
* Strong understanding of the games industry including awards, events, clients, and gaming culture
