From hands-on aircraft maintenance to off-aircraft support, our team plays a vital role in keeping Merlin helicopters mission-ready. As an aircraft engineer on our team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering support across both AESAS and IMOS contracts. You'll contribute to critical operational outcomes, working within a dynamic and highly regulated environment where precision and collaboration are essential. What you'll need: Minimum of 6 years working in an airworthiness environment, relevant experience for the Merlin aircraft, with a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience You’ll also need previous experience and a good working knowledge of: Merlin aircraft engineering and aircraft systems Merlin aircraft servicing and support equipment Lean Operating Procedures Naval Air Publications and Compound Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (CIETP) Health and safety, including COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations, and tool control and quality practices An understanding of Engineering and Asset Management Systems Ideally, you will also have completed a Maintenance Human Factors course and hold a Certificate of Competency at Supervisory level – but if not, we’ll support to achieve both!
