The Role: English Teacher
My mainstream secondary school, located a short commute from Didcot, is actively seeking an experienced and knowledgeable English Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time permanent basis. There is scope for the right candidate to lead the department. To be successful, you will need excellent organizational skills and a passion for planning and marking English lessons across key stages 3 to 5. Additionally, you will require Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

You will join a well-resourced English department with a number of new staff members bringing fresh approaches. The successful candidate can expect a salary of £31,650 - £49,084, depending on experience, with the possibility of additional TLR1 for departmental leadership roles.
