The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills on a variety of exciting projects within a diverse and growing design team. You will be working on stand-alone Interior Design projects or larger multi-disciplinary projects within the private sector. Working knowledge of Living and Workplace sectors is preferable. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to respond to our clients' needs from inception of a project to completion. You will have exceptional creative skills and an ability to clearly and effectively present your concept design ideas and translate them to technical design packages suitable for delivery.
You will possess excellent product knowledge within Interior Design; you will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player. You will possess strong client management skills and be able to take responsibility for managing client expectations as well as guiding a small team of technical and junior support staff.
You will have
* A desire to deliver great interior spaces and client experience
* Proven track record of delivering projects within interior design
* Excellent presentation & pitching skills
Essential skills
* An Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree
* Strong client care skills with an ability to adapt to changing demands
* Experience working within Living sector and Workplace projects
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team – building rapport and creating positive relationships
* Confident leadership in production of information both conceptual and technical
* Proven experience delivering projects through RIBA stages, with the ability to advise others on appropriate design solutions
* Ability to produce bespoke joinery packages to a high level of detail
* Working knowledge of British Standards and BSA legislation
* Excellent product knowledge within Interior Design and the ability to produce detailed specification documents and schedules
* Excellent time management and prioritisation of tasks. Ability to work autonomously and delegate / oversee the workload of others and supporting more junior team members
* An understanding of delivery requirements for project commissioned under both D&B and traditional contract
* Ability to conduct formalised project design reviews alongside other senior team members
* Ability to provide professional guidance to other consultants during design development / technical design stages and site teams during construction
Desirable skills
* Production of rendered visuals – Revit / Enscape
* Knowledge and application of AI tools – Weavy
