A rare opportunity has arisen for a strong, motivated Sous Chef to join a busy and ambitious independent privately owned estate in the beautiful Lake District.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality operation with a growing food offering across the main bar and restaurant, events, outdoor catering, leisure areas and café operation. At peak periods, the kitchen can serve up to 500 covers a day.
We are looking for a chef who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with fresh food and seasonal menus, and wants to play a key role in helping shape and develop something special.
As Sous Chef, you will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, help lead service, maintain consistency and work closely with the wider brigade to deliver high standards across a varied operation.
We are looking for a Sous Chef who:
Is a confident, capable chef with strong all-round kitchen ability
Can help lead and support a brigade in a high-volume environment
Thrives during busy service and stays organised under pressure
Cares deeply about quality, consistency and presentation
Understands prep, structure, cleanliness and kitchen discipline
