£30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday | Term-Time Only
Hours:
9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible working available)
Focus:
One-to-One Teaching | SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and Medical Needs
About the Role
Are you an experienced teacher who thrives on helping students overcome barriers to learning? We're looking for SEN Teachers to provide one-to-one support to children and young people with a range of additional needs. This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, creativity, and the chance to make a real impact outside of a traditional classroom setting.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Deliver tailored lessons in core subjects, adapted to each student's learning style and pace
2. Create a calm, structured environment that supports both academic and emotional development
3. Work closely with families and carers to ensure consistent, wraparound support
4. Encourage independence, resilience, and a positive attitude toward learning
5. Promote inclusive values and model positive behaviour
What You'll Need
1. QTS or equivalent (PGCE)
2. At least 2 years of teaching experience
3. Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
4. Experience across Key Stages 1-4
5. A background in supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or complex needs
6. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
7. Legal right to work in the UK
8. A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
