English Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and resilient English Teacher (QTS required) to deliver high-quality teaching to small classes of KS3 and KS4 pupils. You will be working with students who present a mixture of autism and challenging behaviours, requiring a creative, empathetic, and structured approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to small groups.
* Differentiated teaching to meet the needs of pupils with autism and SEMH challenges.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders to ensure consistent progress.
* Inspire students to develop confidence in literacy, communication, and self-expression.
Who We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Experience teaching KS3/KS4 English in specialist or mainstream settings.
* Strong understanding of autism, SEMH, and challenging behaviours.
* Resilient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education.
* Ability to build positive relationships and motivate learners.
