Role Overview
Field sales role covering the south of the South East, focusing on selling a manufactured range of LED Lighting (predominantly LED Tapes, but also downlights, bulkheads, extrusions, LED lamps, decorative lighting, emergency lighting, garden & wall lighting, sensors, cabinet & display lighting) into electrical wholesalers and a small portion into lighting retail showrooms.
Key Responsibilities
* Account management for 450 customer accounts, calling on approx. 250 weekly.
* Conduct 4-6 customer visits per day, four days per week; Friday working from home/admin.
* Manage an area with estimated turnover of £500,000 (previous year £1m).
* Handle customer sizes ranging from a few hundred pounds per month up to £4,000 per month.
* Utilize full product training to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven field sales track record selling into electrical wholesalers.
* Existing contacts/relationships preferred.
* Experience in selling LED lighting strongly preferred; open to all electrical field sales backgrounds such as wiring accessories, trucking, etc.
* First field sales role acceptable for candidates with experience at an electrical wholesaler.
* Driven, go-getter, tenacious with strong account and relationship management skills.
