We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community from May. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including learning, behavioural, and communication difficulties
* Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to implement tailored learning plans
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to enhance pupil engagement and progress
* Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
* Assist with classroom management and daily routines
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
* Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable in their approach
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills
* Be committed to promoting inclusion and supporting individual needs
* Hold relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
