About The Operations Manager Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Manager to join our growing R & D team in our Northampton office.
This is a key role working with clients and TC Group Partners, while supporting the Head of R & D with the onboarding of new clients and team management. There will be opportunity for internal progression and professional development on other tax reliefs such as patent box & video games and we are also willing to consider relevant study support.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Supporting the Head of R & D with the onboarding of new clients
* Building relationships with clients & TC Group Partners
* Managing the workload and delivery times of the R & D Analysts
* Supporting the Head of R & D on the delivery of operation projects to the wider team
* Managing the team and all related people management tasks
* Being proactive to drive operational efficiency and lead on internal projects
About You –
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
* Previous experience of managing people
* Ability to multi-task and demonstrate responsibility for managing clients, TC Partners, and own personal workload
* Previous experience of working with clients and offering a high level of client care
* Ability to build strong client relationships and generate repeat work and new business referrals
* Proactive and results driven
* Knowledge of the R&D BEIS Guidelines advantageous
* Excellent time management & organisational skills
* Good communication & interpersonal skills
* Project management skills advantageous but not necessary
