Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Dungannon
Job Type: Full-Time, 4-6 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 17:00 PM
Salary: £14.30 per hour, £15.30 per hour (with Hiab)
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at a busy builders merchant in Dungannon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of building materials to trade and domestic customers across Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver building materials to customer sites.
* Perform multi-drop deliveries, ensuring goods are delivered in good condition.
* Load and unload materials using a HIAB crane (if licensed).
* Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records.
* Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
* Comply with all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and health & safety standards.
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
* CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
* Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience.
* HIAB certification (preferred but not essential).
* Good knowledge of local and regional routes.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading.
