Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to help children thrive both academically and personally in a supportive environment.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Work one-to-one and in small groups with pupils who have additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, or SEMH.
2. Support students with their learning, behaviour, and emotional development.
3. Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Help pupils engage with their education and reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience working with children with special educational needs (school-based or personal experience considered).
2. A caring and patient nature with excellent communication skills.
3. A proactive, flexible attitude and a willingness to learn.
4. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
5. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one).
