We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assembly operative to join one of our well-established and reputable clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Assembly Operator to become part of a supportive and friendly team within a stable manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Production Assembly Operator, you will:
Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools
Read and interpret assembly and work instructions
Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Work collaboratively to achieve production targets
Stamp parts using machinery
Measure and cut materials to tight tolerances using cutting equipment
Flush components with lubricants or pellets
Tape and bag finished products ready for dispatch
About You
To be successful as a Production Assembly Operative, you should have:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar production role
Excellent attention to detail and good manual dexterity
A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
A basic understanding of health and safety practices in a production environment
Pay & Hours
Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
Pay rate: £14.42 per hour, increasing to £15.60 per hour after 12 weeks
