Despatch Loader / Warehouse Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
The Best Connection is recruiting a Despatch Loader to join a busy and well organised manufacturing and warehouse operation. This is a hands-on role supporting the movement of products in and out of the warehouse, ensuring orders are prepared safely and efficiently for delivery.
Role Overview:
* Loading company vehicles in preparation for daily despatch routes
* Unloading incoming deliveries from suppliers and allocating stock correctly
* Checking products for damage and reporting any issues to the relevant supervisor
* Sorting and positioning frames within the warehouse using designated storage locations
* Ensuring the despatch and loading areas remain clean, tidy, and safe at all times
* Working closely with the despatch and warehouse teams to meet daily deadlines
Candidate Profile:
* Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Holds a valid UK driving licence
* Good attention to detail and safety awareness
* Previous warehouse or loading experience is beneficial but not essential
