Successful FMCG retail business require a Supply Chain Manager. Applicants need previous experience in; supply chain management, senior supply chain analysis, demand planning or inventory management within a retail, wholesale or FMCG business. The Supply Chain Manager will manage the end-to-end flow of product from manufacturers/factories into UK warehouses and distribution centres encompassing; purchasing, planning, forecasting and logistics. The role would suit a proactive and driven individual with deep experience in supply chain to take ownership of product/range availability. Specific duties of the Supply Chain Manager include: Manage stock availability Forecasting demand monthly and planning for promotional events Identifying and resolving issues that affect stock efficiency and customer satisfaction Leading range changes and supporting new product launches Contribute to success of assigned ranges and products Liaison with 3PL and logistics services partners Supply Chain Manager applicants should meet the following criteria: Experience working in a fast paced; FMCG, retail, wholesale or consumer product manufacturing environment Skilled in demand planning, forecasting and supply chain analysis activities Comfortable dealing with a high number of SKUs; 100 Proficient in the use of MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) Experience in the use of supply chain planning and demand planning tools/software
