Overview
The delivery of excellent customer services at all times to ensure customer satisfaction. To ensure all our facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Keep all areas of the club assigned for cleaning clean and hygienic.
* Complete all work outlined in the daily cleaning schedule, including but not limited to:
* Maintain public restrooms: restrooms stocked, countertops clean, waste receptacles emptied, floors mopped, and kept safe and clean.
* Maintain changing room facilities: showers, floors, lockers, countertops kept clean and tidy; stock replenished.
* Clean gym and studio floors; studio mirrors cleared of handprints.
* Clean public walkways within Health & Fitness and Hoovered; lockers cleaned.
* Clean all poolside facilities including indoor and outdoor pool areas, sauna, steam room, and showers; clear rubbish and remove lost property to reception.
* Areas for cleaning include Reception, Health & Fitness Club, and support areas including restaurant and Kelvedon.
* Look after and secure the building at the end of shift.
* Safely handle and store chemical substances and cleaning products; know how to dispose of waste properly.
* Work with electrical appliances (e.g., hoovers, wet vacs) and ensure they are safe to use and stored correctly.
* Keep up to date with BGL compliance training and comply with company policies and procedures.
* Work alongside and support colleagues with shift cover; be flexible within your working hours.
* Create a positive and approachable impact on all members and guests, greeting them warmly and maintaining open and honest communication with customers both internal and external at all times.
* Contribute to the local community by supporting regular neighbourhood events and working closely with society.
* Protect and nurture the environment by considering alternative work methods and supporting local wildlife.
* Support each other and recognise the potential of every individual.

* You will be required to work evenings and weekends.
* You will be working in some cold, hot and humid environments.
